My name is Uwe Behrendt and I am a retired carpenter. I spend summers on my sail boat docked at Plunder Bay in Orwell Vermont. During the winter I pick up a paintbrush and paint.
My paintings are oil based and mostly inspired by my time on Lake Champlain.

Bluff Point Lighthouse Placed in service in 1874, the Bluff Point Light was one of the last lighthouses to be manned on the lake. It guided ships through the narrow passageway between the island and the New York shore for almost 60 years.
